FryMenu
Refund Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026. This page explains how FryMenu handles card holds, charges, cancellations, and refunds for online pickup and delivery orders.
Card payments
When you pay online, your card is authorized first. You are charged only when the kitchen accepts the order.
If the order is cancelled before acceptance, the hold is released. That is not a refund — no charge has been taken.
Card payments are handled through Stripe. FryMenu does not store your full card number or card security code.
Cash on pickup or delivery
If you choose to pay with cash, no card charge is taken. If the order is cancelled before you collect it, you owe nothing.
After the kitchen accepts
Once the kitchen accepts, food is prepared to order. Fresh food made to order is not usually refunded only because you changed your mind.
If the kitchen cancels after acceptance, or we cannot fulfil the order, we refund the amount charged to your card.
If an item is missing, wrong, or there is a serious quality issue, contact us as soon as you can. We may refund part or all of the order, depending on the case.
How refunds are paid
Online payment refunds go back to the same card through Stripe. Your bank decides when the money appears, usually within a few working days.
Cash orders have no card refund. If you already paid at the restaurant, speak with staff.
Contact
To request a refund, give your order code (for example #FRY12) and what went wrong. Ask staff at the restaurant, or use the contact details on your profile or order ticket.
